Please submit your plans to the Architectural Control Committee for approval as legally required by our Covenants and Restrictions. It’s a simple process and the committee members are eager to work with neighborhood residents to accommodate their wishes and to maintain property values in the neighborhood. A copy of these Covenants and Restrictions can be found at the back of your neighborhood directory or on this website. Please join the Committee to update the Covenants & Restrictions
Looking for residents of Spicewood Estates Homeowner’s Association (SEHA) interested in establishing committee(s) to update the Covenants & Restrictions for:
Section 1: December 31, 2010 Section 2: December 31, 2013
During such initial terms, the covenants and restrictions for the respective sections may be changed or terminated only by an instrument signed by the then Owners of all Lots in the Subdivision and properly recorded in the appropriate records of Travis County, Texas. Upon the expiration of such initial term, said covenants and restrictions (as changed, if changed), and the enforcement rights relative thereto, shall be automatically extended for successive periods of ten (10) years. During such ten-year extension periods, the covenants and restrictions of this Declaration may be changed or terminated only by an instrument signed by the then Owners of not less than fifty-one percent (51%) of all the Lots in the Subdivision and properly recorded in the appropriate records of Travis County, Texas.

The criteria for YOM this month included holiday decorations in addition to a well maintained yard. The use of a SEHA lighted curbside holiday tree certainly influenced the selection too.

Mountain View Park Tennis Courts
The City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department has been fielding phone calls concerning the tennis courts at Mountain View Park. They want to make the courts more accessible to the many neighborhoods that use the facility. They would like for any of the neighborhood associations to publish the code for the lock at the courts on their websites and newsletters. The code is 1532.
